The Tri-Service Dental Conference is an annual conference attended by military dentists from the Navy, Air Force, Army, Japanese Army, and civilian dentists from across the Indo-Pacific region. The 66th conference, hosted by 3d Dental Battalion, was held in Okinawa, Japan. Symbols of Okinawa that were incorporated into the logo include a pair of shisa, the silohuete of Shuri Castle, and the prefectural symbol of Okinawa. The wave design used in the name tags and signage is adapted from the Expo '75 logo. Expo '75 was a World's Fair held in Okinawa in 1975. In recognition for all my design work, I was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
